Course Outline
The course comprises five main modules covering critical areas such as climate science, policy and advocacy, communication, community action, skills development, and project planning. Each module blends theory with practice, using individual and group assignments to encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Led by experienced facilitators, sessions are enriched with real-world examples and practical insights to prepare participants for effective climate activism and advocacy.
The CAP Journey So Far
The Climate Activist Program (CAP) continues to shape young climate leaders through hands-on learning and strategic mentorship by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and platforms needed to drive real change in their communities and beyond.

CAP 2024 Highlights
- 6-week hybrid training blending virtual sessions and an in-person workshop in Accra
- 31 diverse young participants equipped with skills in climate science, advocacy, and communication
- Participants launched climate projects, formed networks, and boosted their public engagement
CAP2.0 Bootcamp Edition
- 9-day intensive bootcamp combining general courses, masterclasses, fieldwork, and creative sessions
- Focused modules on climate science, project planning, finance, leadership, and creative advocacy
- Upon completion participants will develop actionable climate projects, gain real-world skills, and access ongoing mentorship and funding opportunities
